
Tour Guide to the World Famous Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden - A Fun and Affordable Destination
The Cincinnati Zoo was opened in 1975 and has expanded to set the standards in the conservation and education on wild animals and their habitats. It now features over 500 animals and over 3000 species of plants. Located in the Cincinnati neighborhood of Avondale, it conducts breeding programs and contains the Center for Conservation and Research of Endangered Wildlife (CREW). Families can have fun in taking different rides within the Cincinnati Zoo. They have the option of choosing the train, shuttle and carousel rides. In addition to this, they can get into the 4D Theater which combines the 3-d effects and 4-d environmental features that makes the whole tour fun and thrilling. In the 4-d theater, they will select from many types of movies that the zoo has to offer. In order to enjoy the 4-D ride, visitors should be at the Zoo 10 minutes before the start of the show.

Children can also be taken to the Spaulding Children's Zoo where they can feed and touch the animal among other activities.
