Most Important Exhibition

The Contemporary Arts Center of Cincinnati came up with the auction and exhibition of FORM: a Contemporary Architects at Play. This was in fact, a collection of some of the most wonderful artworks made by ten of the world's most renowned architects such as Michael Graves, Bernard Tschumi and Zaha Hadid. The FORM actually includes a wide variety of artistic expressions from some of the best creative designers in the world today.

The entire work was, in fact, made especially for the CAC and the materials for the work were given by the Formica Corporation. The collection of art work includes items ranging from innovative sculpture to domestic pieces.

The pieces in the FORM were designed in keeping with the challenge that was extended by the CAC and Formica Corporation to the architects who were working on it. The challenge had been to invent pieces that people could sit, lie, lean or play upon. Different artists came up with different responses to the challenge, thereby, broadly marking the resulting collection.
